Is the board dry erase?

Yes, you can but they wipe off very easily. These spinners are plastic with a shiny finish. I have not needed to use a dry erase marker. I have written numbers on the colored spaces with a permanent marker. I wouldn't expect to wipe them off. With a pack of five, you could do many things to mark them each differently using a permanent marker.

Do the colors actually match what is shown in the ad photos?

Yes, the colors match. They are also nice, sturdy, and spin great. I added numbers to one of the spinners since the game I needed to replace the spinner on was number based, only thing needed was a permanent marker. These spinners are so much better than the cardboard ones we have been getting in our games. I give them 5 stars.

Do dry erase markers work on this?

Vis a Vis markers worked better.

Can you use dry erase makers on it?

Dry erase markers wipe off a bit when you spin the spinner. On the other hand, neither a tissue or water or an alcohol wipe removed the dry erase marker completely. It leaves smudges.
