This mortar and pestle exceeded my expectations by a lot. The material quality is excellent, and it is very solid and heavy, which is actually a great thing. When I’m crushing ingredients like garlic, herbs, or spices, it stays firmly in place and does not slide around at all. The grinding surface works extremely well, making it easy to break down ingredients efficiently without much effort. You can really feel the quality as soon as you start using it. It feels durable, well made, and built to last. My only regret is choosing the smaller size. At the time, I wasn’t familiar with the brand’s quality, but now that I am, I definitely would have gone with a larger one, especially for things like making guacamole or larger batches. That said, the performance is still excellent. I fully approve this product and would absolutely buy it again. Highly recommended

This mortar and pestle set is absolutely beautiful and well made. It is very sturdy, easy to use, grinds everything smoothly, worth the price, and easy to clean (if you follow manufacturers recommendations). It is heavy making it nonslip on your counter. I am so happy with this purchase.

This Heavy Duty Mortar and Pestle Set is certainly that. The materials are high quality. I had been thinking about getting one for a while and the PriorityChef set was a good price with good reviews. It looks good enough to leave on the counter but is super useful. I had tried a variety of work around to crush and a Mortar and Pestle makes it so much easier and faster with quick clean-up

The exact color match of granite from Pestle to Mortar product might not resemble the photos shown on line. I reached out to customer service and they immediately sent a Pestle replacement. The new pestle is the same lighter color (see photo, not matching base). The Pestle is also shown in the video posted with the grind going up the shaft, mine only has it on the bottom, which resembles the other photo's. In all it's a very well made grinder, bamboo base is a nice touch to keep your countertops from being marred.

This thing is a BEAST. Heavy and stable on the table. It makes quick work of peppercorns, cumin seeds, Sichuan red peppercorns and anything like these items. I made fresh guacamole and it was great. My 15 year old grandson whom has never cooked that I know of took one look and asked his mother [my daughter] if he could have one. I love this.

This is a well-priced, well-made, well-sized mortar and pestle. Durability can only be seen in time. My unit arrived intact with no damage. The bamboo base adds a degree of stability as well as dresses it up nicely. I like that some people think that the garlic peeler is actually a protective cover for the handle of the pestle, lol. It's a nice added touch and it works! Customer service is also excellent. They answered questions quickly and genuinely seem interested in your happiness as a customer. Highly recommended product and seller.
