I had it for almost a year before it started yellowing. (I do wipe it down with alcohol wipes every now and then of course.) I’ve had it for a year and two months now and the yellowing still isn’t too bad but it’s bothering me enough that I decided to finally just repurchase and get a fresh one. That still says a lot though because I’ve never repurchased the same phone case twice in my life, always moved on to something different. Besides that, the magnetic charge on the back works great (I never plug in to charge), I’ve dropped my phone many times and never gotten a crack or any kind of damage and the little thing around the camera to prop up the phone still works perfectly. It’s very good quality. The only other thing I will say is the metal prop up thing has gotten slightly tarnished (just recently) on the edges but I often bring my phone in the shower so I’m sure it’s just water damage over time. Overall 5 stars. Can’t believe how cheap the price is for the quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Product, best switch from Otterbox to this *by E***N on June 18, 2025* Product is amazing. As a long time otterbox customer I have always relied on their phone cases for protection in my phone. As time progressed and I acquired a new IPhone 15 Pro, I decided to get a clear Otter Box case. Although at first the case was good. I felt as if it was getting dirty quick over the span of less than a year. That is why I made a switch to this amazing case by ESR. The black rim around the phone makes it perfect and less susceptible to the dirtiness that a otterbox may acquire in the future. Not only that but it is way more affordable, ease of installation. The Halolock feature is really convenient although it was never necessary for me. I appreciate the work at ESR and look forward to being a long time customer. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love, but know THESE TWO IMPORTANT THINGS before you pick your option. *by M***G on March 15, 2025* Edited to correct a link below.I have no connection to ESR and paid for these items.This review covers two important things about this ESR case: The HaloLock magnet for MagSafe phones and the "CAMERA CONTROL" option you have to have for newer phones with that button. NOTE: Earlier versions of the case are unfortunately thrown together on this same Amazon page and may not have the Camera Control improvement. So be on guard for the right one.Right after this week's purchase of an iPhone 16, MacWorld recommended this case highly in a review a for the iPhone 16 Pro case, but as they said, it also covers the same qualities on this iPhone 16 (not Pro) version that I needed. The reason: THE CAMERA CONTROL BUTTON.My purchased ESR iPhone 16 case has the magnetic HaloLock system on the back so that it won't fall off of MagSafe charging stands and mounts with the case on the phone. That's a problem with phone cases that block the magnet strength because they don't have the additional MagSafe features.If your phone has the new camera control button, then the "CAMERA CONTROL," option is a MUST among all of these cases thrown together on this Amazon page. The Camera Control option in some of the cases is NEWER to accommodate that new button on the iPhone 16. If you have a phone with that, it's IMPORTANT for that button to work well through the case. Be careful when you're clicking all the options on this page. Carefully look for that Camera Control in the bold pop up description as you hover over it in the small images of choices of colors, etc. I almost messed up.I'm duplicating parts of this review with tweaks on two other ESR product pages all for their MagSafe items I bought at about the same time.
