Definitely a case of "you get what you pay for." Lots of small defects/scratches/junk that litter the field under a microscope. If you are absolutely strapped for cash and need a hemocytometer, these are better than nothing. If you are used to counting cells on a clean field, these will drive you crazy and you should pay the money for a better product.
