Can epsom salt be used** A: Epsom Salt is Magnesium Sulphate and salt normally used for ponds is Sodium Chloride. They are not the same thing and each is used for different things. **Q: Is this safe to use if my pond contains turtles ?** A: My pond has a turtle and Pablo is just fine after the application I did use slightly less than directed **Q: where is this made/packaged US, China?** A: The box says USA and I see no reason to doubt it. China isn't even in the top 10 of countries we import salt from. **Q: Will using this harm water liies or pond plants?** A: You should check the salt tolerance for the pants that you have. Some plants will tolerate a little salt while others will not. I have a few water lilies and added the recommended amount to my pond and they seem to be fine. I do regular water changes also.
