Bitewing Trailblazers Board Game, Travel Edition, Route-Building Game

My husband and I played this game on our recent vacation. Compact enough to fit in our suitcase. Was a fun game that was reasonably easy to understand but we could play every night without getting bored!

Let’s make something clear, this game will not be easy to play on the trail. Especially with PVC cards. Way too slippery and susceptible to gusts of wind that can reset your game. It also requires large flat surfaces to play, so unlikely you’ll find that when hiking. But despite that inconvenience, trailblazers is still a fantastic little travel game. It’s quick, it’s fun, it’s thinky, and almost anyone can pick it up and play with little instruction. The game practically teaches itself. Had a lot of fun with this one. Highly recommended!

Easy to learn, quick to play, as deep with strategy and tactic as you care to plomb. Reccomended!

This is a very small travel sized game. As we were traveling with the grands, I found the print on the cards to small to read and the cards hard to handle.
