The plasma speaker music capability works well. A birthday gift for my husband; he likes it a lot. Just a minor problem: LED D1 on the 4-arm windmill was missing, reducing the visual effect. The missing mass may make the windmill wobble a bit, and without D1, the reverse voltage blew out D3. I don't see a way to order a replacement part, or ask them to send a new one.

This is a great tesla coil, small enough to be not too intimidating but still a respectable device. The plasma speaker music capability works well. A birthday gift for my husband; he likes it a lot. Just a minor problem: LED D1 on the 4-arm windmill was missing, reducing the visual effect. The missing mass may make the windmill wobble a bit, and without D1, the reverse voltage blew out D3. I don't see a way to order a replacement part, or ask them to send a new one.

It arrived broken with the secondary coil tube separate from the main body. This was the second unit I received in this condition. Luckily, this one had enough wire that I was able to resolder the coil wire and stick the coil tube back on. After it was repaired, it worked great. Very pleased with it now. Sends purple sparks out the top and I can smell the ozone that it produces. (Use in a ventilated area) I have not tried the speaker function yet. I’m happy with the product, BUT they need to work on packing it better to prevent damage during shipping. I gave it 4 stars for this reason, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.
