I don't normally write reviews but in this case I will make an exception. These Secateurs are absolutely brilliant ! They are seriously good at pruning, super sharp, feel comfortable to use all day and the build quality is excellent. They are super sharp and there is no plastic locking switch that will break, it is metal. The single hand opening and locking of the locking mechanism is really useful. They are totally worth the money and a pleasure to use. They are as sharp at the end of a session as the start. Once you buy these, you will get upset when there is nothing else to prune in your garden!!

These are very good quality Japanese made secateurs. The instructions are in Japanese which isn't very helpful but you don't really need instructions anyway. A very worthwhile investment for gardeners at a very reasonable price and Japanese steel is well known to be superb quality and very sharp.

My third ARS product after the hedge shears and loppers which are also excellent. Their products really are a cut above the rest (sorry couldn't resist). Extremely sharp and bright red handles mean that I should not lose them when I put them down in the vegetation. Just watch your fingers near the blade.

I bought these secateurs some time ago. Even with a lot of use they are still razor sharp. They are more expensive than many but well worth the price.

Well balanced and really sharp. Locking is quite stiff and will need more regular use to securing with one hand.

These are definitely quality pruners, sharp, the locking mechanism works well and fits medium size hands . There is some question on here on if they are genuine mostly because the pivot nut isn't stamped ARS. From what I can gather these are an older model the VS-8Z which do not have the ARS stamped on the nut, the newer VS-8XZ do have the stamped nut.

Excellent sécateur, ergonomie parfaite, tout se fait avec la main droite, ouverture et vérrouillage du sécateur. La coupe est franche et parfaite et en plus les pièces détachées semblent accessibles chez le revendeur - importateur (Marseille).
