eufy Security Camera S350, 4K UHD Indoor Camera with 8× Zoom, Dual Cameras

This is a quality camera especially for the price. I've been so impressed. I felt a bit overwhelmed searching for the right camera as I didn't want one that required a subscription but wanted to be able to review and download the videos. I've recently taken on a rescue dog and he has an occasional howl after just being left. The camera alerts me to the sound and I'm able to speak to him through the camera and he settles really well. It's taken a lot of stress out of him getting used to being left. The picture quality is great too. I bought a memory card to use in the camera - set up was easy and the app is also user friendly.

I already have a Eufy Hub, Eufy floor cleaner, two outdoor cameras and a doorbell cam - my Blink indoor camera has finally given up the ghost so it was a natural choice to extend my Eufy range. What a camera! The Eufy S350 Indoor Cam is a quite bit larger than the Blink, but with two lenses and 360 degree active AI view, of course it would be! It's a nice looking camera, quite discreet. Very easy to set up and add to the hub. The image quality in both day and pitch-black night are superb! The Eufy app is intuitive and feature rich so, within 10 minutes of opening the package, it was installed (including latest software update) and ready to go. It comes with a quite long, white USB cable and separate UK 3-pin plug, so easy to locate in preferred indoor position. A nice feature is the ability to detect motion and/or sound, with a special feature that on noise detection, it will 'look around' recording the area to see what it might be. I can see that this is clearly a great device for security and/or baby/child/pet monitoring - I highly recommend. I now have a top of the range 'security' camera setup, including video doorbell, and a top of the range Eufy floor cleaner (super-impressed with that too!), I wonder what will be next? If I could give 6 starts, I would!

If you’re not familiar with the Eufy brand, get ready for a surprise. It’s a relatively affordable , feature laden and high quality electronic manufacturer, which is a subsidiary of Anker - who produce some of the best charging cables and power banks. This wireless camera can be used standalone or within a system of similar cameras from the eufy range, as well as integrated with alarm systems and doorbells. The app is relatively straight forward, and you can set things up like geofencing (turning on the notification features by your own location automatically I.e. home/away), and setting up your own schedules on a timer (I.e. if you work 9-5, you can set the system up to record any movement between these times and for it to alert you that something wrong - with a quick snapshot in your notifications) relatively easily. You can have continuous recording, however the amount of footage you can keep will obviously depend on the size of the micro SD card you put into the camera (which has to be bought separately). Also as a side note, in order to insert the MicroSD card into the camera, you need to push the lens area up to the ceiling and a small slot will appear that you can slide the MicroSD card into. I’ve got it so that the camera will only record if it picks up movement in a certain location - although if I just want to ‘check in’ I can view a live view at any time. I’ve added a screenshot of the continuous recording timings dependingkk no on the MicroSD card used, direct from the app. After you play around with the app for a little while, you will get used to the controls for the tilt and pan etc - the motion is really smooth, and also - very very quiet! There is a speaker on the camera, so you can speak through the app with your voice coming out of the camera, which is obviously handy as a deterrent, and you can also set it up so if it senses movement an alarm will sound. Granted this alarm isn’t too loud, but it can serve as a slight shock and if you’ve got someone doing something they shouldn’t, it may deter them. Through the app as well, you can manually trigger this alarm sound. Picture quality is very clear, both in normal mode and night vision mode - I don’t really have anything bad to say about the picture quality for a camera that cost roughly £40. The camera only needs to be connected to a plug point for it to be ready to work and will connect Via your wifi - long gone are the days of wired CCTV systems with hundred of feet of wire for the power and the signal. What slightly let’s this down is it’s motion detection and tracking system. Let’s start with the first, as I have it setup to record if motion is detected - it may be a second or so after said motion is detected that the camera starts to record - sometimes, this is not good - and examples I’ve seen from other reviews such as someone throwing something at window and smashing it, means that as it happened so quickly the camera failed to pick it up. The motion tracking is a useful feature, as it will keep a person in the middle of the shot, but can than can be a bit jerky, and the added movement sometimes doesn’t allow the camera to focus on the persons face - I used to have it turned on, but due to these reasons I’ve turned it off to just record a single area. Overall, I’ve had this camera roughly 8 months, and it works well and for its intended purpose. For the price I paid (roughly £40) you won’t get a better security camera. The app is relatively intuitive and works well, the notifications work great to let you know something has been spotted - I can see myself getting a few more cameras (maybe some of the bigger outdoor ones) and adding to this system.

Absolutely amazing product. The wide angle lens means you don’t have to be super precise with where you place the camera, as it will catch everything in its view with ease. The zoom lens paired with 4K resolution means I can see every detail of something from across the room; I can even read the temperate on my Google Nest across the other side of the house in the other room, it’s actually amazing. I’ve got it connected to my 5GHz WiFi network, and albeit my Internet not being “fast” at 4MB/s, there is zero delay in the camera feed streaming to my phone at full 4K resolution. Coming from an Amazon Blink camera, this has absolutely blown my mind. Even the talk through feature is crispy, super good voice quality with no delay, I can talk to my wife through it whilst in another country, like it’s a normal phone call. The Ai tracking is almost eerily creepy with how good and accurate it is. Awesome for keeping an eye on my cats when I’m at work. Genuinely the best camera I’ve use. App is awesome and integrated with the rest of my Eufy Products. Recently bought an E20 RoboVac from Eufy and I can track and control both of these products from the same screen on the app. 10/10 from me, and I’m a picky tech geek.

It is a high-quality investment that offers features usually locked behind expensive paywalls. The Big Win: Restoring Peace of Mind 🕊️ I use this mainly to monitor a loved one with additional support needs. This camera has restored my peace of mind when I am away; I can check in and satisfy myself that all is well. I feel significantly less on edge because I can intervene quickly if anything is amiss. A specific moment where it helped: When I saw my loved one looking distressed on the live feed, I used Alexa remotely to play their favourite musi 🎶. It calmed them in less time than it would have taken to contact someone at home. I sleep much better now; if I wake and wonder how they are, I can quickly reassure myself via the app. ☯️ Hardware Performance & Connectivity The 4K video is sharp, and the auto-tracking follows movement seamlessly using the camera’s full range of motion. The device tilts as well as pans (360° horizontal / 75° vertical), which is vital for seeing from "door to floor" in a large room. However, I have occasionally had the feed freeze or been unable to connect despite a strong Wi-Fi connection. While the night vision is excellent, the audio is not always clear enough to understand conversations, which is a drawback for two-way audio needs. Software Frustrations & The Need for Support The software has been a source of real stress and frustration at times 😩. I am not very tech-savvy, and I truly need intuitive apps to manage such sensitive tasks. Finding essential settings like Privacy Mode was a struggle. I would benefit greatly from more accessible tech support; battling non-intuitive software when you are already anxious about a loved one’s safety adds unnecessary pressure to caregiving. 📣 Constructive Feedback for eufy • To make this a 5-star product, I suggest the following: • App Redesign: Make essential settings like Privacy Protection easier to find and navigate. • Physical Connectivity: Adding an Ethernet port for a stable alternative to Wi-Fi. • Broadening Smart-Home Integration: Expanding smart-home integration to include Apple HomeKit and Google Home. • Audio Hardware: Upgrading the microphone/speaker for clearer conversations. Value for Money ⚖️💷 Despite the app’s quirks, the value is excellent. Many competitors at twice the price require a subscription for AI alerts, but this device allows for local storage via an SD slot. The fact that eufy provides these features subscription-free makes it a standout for budget-conscious buyers. ✅ Overall Verdict The hardware is top-tier. I appreciate the video quality and the relief it provides. It is a solid investment for its strong specs and functionality without a monthly fee. Despite the occasionally software glitches, as a caregiver to a vulnerable adult, I find it extremely useful.

Overall I find this product great and far superior than the cheaper unbranded cameras, it has a great app and it is priced well. However I'm disappointed to see that this does not come with an sd card , you have to buy this separately, and where Eufy have done great in the past to keep subscription free (there spotlight cam comes with 4gb and wireless base station 16gb), i see this as a stepping stone to charging for subscriptions with their own cloud based service (not sure of uk price, they advertise the dollar price on the app at $2.99 per device or $9.99 for up to 10). Also with this camera needing an internal memory card, what's stopping Billie the Burglar from spotting the camera and then fleeing with both the camera and video evidence of his great escape! Eufy need to allow the video footage to also be stored on the hub, out of sight from Billie the Burglar. The only way around this without buying the cloud subscription would to buy a separate NAS hard drive as this camera is compatible with the RTSP protocol I sincerely think there is a close match with Arlo and Eufy. Eufy offer value and a great app, but Arlo offer the greater design with free 5 day cloud storage on there 1080p models. I do own both and I'm thinking of selling the arlo ones on ebay. 5 days free storage isn't enough for me when I go on holiday This camera can be put absoultely anywhere , ceiling, wall (stand sold seperately) or free standing and setup is straightforward I particularly like the tracking feature and it does work well It has a built in alarm that can activate when motion is detected This camera is compatible with alexa, I'd just like them to add one more feature, for Alexa to annouce when motion is detected (arlo cameras do this!). I will then update this review to 5 stars.

I bought two of these to upgrade from some ancient Amazon Blink cameras I’d had for 4 years that suddenly at random began demanding monthly subscriptions to access footage stored ON THE cameras older than 30 days. Well.. there’s a phrase that consists of a four letter word and ends in ‘off’ that seems appropriate for that. So instead, I decided it was time to upgrade and move on. Have had the Eufy doorbell and Eufy robovac for over a year and have been so happy with them that I decided to give these little ‘Marvin the Paranoid Android’ cameras from Eufy a try. So glad I did! No subscription fees, and the camera design, build and image quality are incredible. The camera zooms in to amazing detail (I can see small details across a 30sq metre room), and the 360 rotation is a dream. It means I can navigate around the room to see where my cats are when I’m away - no more blind spots (unlike with my Blink cameras). The AI functions only work if you have the Homebase 3 which I also bought and they’re fairly decent too but not having the AI functions are not a dealbreaker - more of a nice to have. The Homebase is good to have for storage of all your footage but you don’t need it in all honesty, you can simply just use the camera separately if you put in an SD card into the base of the camera. The Homebase though can centralise all your footage and devices, for instance both cameras and my doorbell are centralised in the Eufy app with the Homebase as the main settings and storage point. Since this camera rotates in almost any angle you likely will only need one for a 30sq metre room. The Eufy app is very heavy on features but it manages to balance them all out well and so is pretty decent too. Overall… 5/5 so far.

Received this today and was easy to setup via the app. Just for those who want to know I was able to set this camera up with the Homebase 3, so I'm very happy with that. There was a firmware update waiting for it so I have updated it. Also it does come with a UK/Ireland 3 pin power adaptor.
