They do tear easy when pulled but stick to a wall or ceiling very well easily and you can part them just dont pull.

It has a sticky strip at the top that I used to stick it to a curtain rod. It was somewhat difficult to remove from the rod after a week. You have to pull it off carefully for sticky stuff to not stay on the rod. Would def buy it again!
