A: It does combine shipping when you purchase multiple items

**Q: What is the max weight rating for the hinge?**
A: my guess having built trailers in the past is this is a 1000 lb. basic trailer stub axle shaft. I highly doubt you will carry 1000lbs off a swing out... ;)
