Available for full-size and midsize trucks. Closed cell foam gasket. Designed to Weather the Storm : Security with a lightweight ridgid frame. Metal striker plates are integrated into the lid to engage a full-length locking rod. This single moving part sucks down the entire rigid lid for secure closure every time. The rotary keyed lock stops the bar from moving when locked. Both the keyhole and sliding rod operate from the driver’s side.

I decided to try a plastic one for cost reasons and durability. This box is not quite large enough, but I will use it. Five inches narrower in width than full sized boxes makes a significant difference in interior space. If you can go with the smaller space, this is a very good value for the money. Here is the NEGATIVE, CRAPPY LOCKING SYSTEM, It took me 30 minutes to get the lock latched, then 2 days later when i needed to open it, It would not unlock, Had to pry the lid open like a thief, Once I got it open, I had to take the cheap locking rod off and threw it on my scrap pile, Now I have a decent looking box, THAT DOES NOT LOCK, I will probably put a hasp on the box and use a padlock, I would be ashamed to sale something this cheap, Don't walk away from this box, RUN RUN RUN

Aluminum crossover tool boxes have gotten lighter gauged and much more expensive recently. I decided to try a plastic one for cost reasons and durability. This box is not quite large enough, but I will use it. Five inches narrower in width than full sized boxes makes a significant difference in interior space. If you can go with the smaller space, this is a very good value for the money. It is strong and well built.
