This is a really good mini carabiner. I had been using a split key ring with the spring loaded opening for several years to easily take my car keys off when I go for service. When that broke I bought several others that lasted only a month or so and could t find the same quality. I needed a better solution and found this mini carabiner. When I got it I was surprised by how well made it was but was worried how it would hold up, especially the spring loaded portion. While I only have a few weeks it seems totally solid and I am very happy with this.

Many people are complaining about the size of this clip. This seems like a non-issue, as if they were to have read the description (or maybe looked at the pictures?) before purchasing, they would've realized its size. To me, this is a large positive. I don't have room on my keychain/gadgets for larger clips; the TEC Python is perfect in size, quality and function. This thing could hold a rottweiler to a fence post. Excellent engineering and top quality manufacturing/QC.

Pretty nice carabiner. Beware that this carabiner is very small and not meant to carry anything heavy. I cannot give an exact measurement but it is as big as half my thumb. Overall this is nice sturdy carabiner but do not make the same mistake I did and not realize how tiny this is.

3 months using this on my keychain, usually alternating between a 58mm SAK Manager and a Leatherman ES4. The small size is great, spring is nice and tight, and the gate is shaped so that the item will not come loose easily. So far I have had no issues with the spring coming loose or anything coming unhooked from it. The finish does seem to show some cosmetic scratches, but this does not bother me. It is by far the best keychain hook of this type that I have tried.
