The construction seems really solid compared to other shufflers I've had in the past and is definitely much quieter than anything else I've owned!Plug it into the wall with the fairly long USB cable (you'll need an AC adapter) or use C cell batteries.It does also have 2 optical sensors to detect when there are no more cards to shuffle. But that feature stopped working.
