Does this include a rubber adjustment for the back of the head?

Will this one fit over Raybans with a thick arm?

It would be a tight fit. We suggest the orbiter retainer or the switchback retainer for a better fit.

Is the band metal or plastic?

The strap is a synthetic fabric, much like a thick shoelace. On each end you have a rubber O-Ring with a plastic collar. This is how they attach to the glasses.
