Very Good Controller For What You Are Paying, I Expected Less But I'm Impressed~
First of all, I'm making this a FULL REVIEW for anybody that is interested as I actually got impressed by this controller. The controller itself looks great aesthetically, very modern looking and similar to the transparent darkish plastic that the official Nintendo Pro Controller has, but we gotta say that it is way too similar to the XBOX ONE controller in button layout, shape and grip. But that isn't a issue with me. I actually think the controller looks great as it is, so if you are used to the Xbox controller feel and layout, this is your pick. Overall, I'm satisfied with this product and it's totally worth it for its cheap price, since it's does its job quite nicely. It went thru my expectations. -Date of This Review: 3/09/2019. The Switch System version that I used at the time of this review and to test the controller is version: 7.0.1. and I tested it "fresh" out of the box. So just to be clear, I can say that it works for the 7.0.1 version, although this can change in the future as new updates for the switch come. The games that I tested this EEEKIT controller were Smash Bros., DOOM 2016, Wolfenstein II, Metal Slug 3 & Enter the Gungeon. FIRST IMPRESSIONS: -LIGHT WEIGHT: It is very light, but still not to the point where it feels cheap or uncomfortable. It is more light than your average controllers but you will probably get used to it after some time. -RUMBLE: Very strong. I tested the rumble with Smash Bros. Ultimate and DOOM (2016) and it is quite strong, but I'm sure you can get used to it if you play with this controller for enough time. Although I can see how it could bother some people because of how intense it is with the vibrations at times, if that is the case you can turn off the rumble in the settings of some games like in Smash and the controller will actually stop vibrating. (Or you could open the controller and remove the vibrators yourself lmao.) -USB TYPE-C cable: The controller "version" I got is type-c and I am aware that there are two "versions" of this same controller, one micro-usb and one type-c assuming from other buyer reviews, but I can't say for sure if the buyer is just sending type-c controllers now, I actually wanted the type-c so I'm satisfied with this. Also tested it, and you can use the USB TYPE-C cable that came with this controller to charge your switch console, so that's good too. LIFE BATTERY: It is as advertised 4-5 hours and it recharges quite fast. The Switch can also read how much battery is has left. The battery also lasts longer (for about 2-3 extra hours) if you turn off the rumble. MOTION CONTROLLERS: The motion controllers are very accurate to my surprise, I tested that with DOOM 2016 and Wolfenstein II aiming motion controls and it manages to be precise most of the times, so far I have no complains in this department. LATTENCY: There was virtually NO lattency during the time I used it to play all of my games, and it doesn't seem like there is any lag input either, I assume this can vary by the amount of bluetooth controllers and devices you have connected and turned on, but I didn't noticed any when I tested connecting more controllers. OTHER FEATURES: -It actually has a capture button. Yes, it does and it's on the same side were the R/L and trigger buttons are, weird position I know but It's good that it actually has a built-in capture button that works. -Both joysticks click-in. You can actually press the joysticks like a button and they actually work properly like they should in-game. Tested with DOOM 2016 and Enter The Gungeon for this. -Triggers good for FPS. The triggers are much better than the joycon's triggers in my opinion for first person shooting games since it actually has some travel to it and feels much more like a real trigger. -D-pad is decent. I tested this with Metal Slug 3 and it works just fine for 2D games, it was quite rare when the inputs erroneous. I originally bought this controller to have a extra controller for multiplayer and I gotta say I'm so far enjoying it very much. No issues have come up and so far my experience has only been positive. I hope this review serves useful for anybody that wants to make a informed purchase of this product~

Perfect for your friends
I was looking for an inexpensive wireless controller for when I have friends over and I really didn't want to spend so much on another pro controller or set of joycons. After coming across this controller I decided I had to try this one out. The reviews on amazon and youtube were surprisingly good and this price was right. After using the controller a bit myself, I've got to say this controller has exceeded my expectations. Pairing was as easy as turning it on (even though directions said otherwise and some others had some issues) rumble and buttons feel solid, and the thumb sticks are accurate with no dead zones or drift. I was able to play fortnite without any issues with aiming or anything like that. Usually the "decent" cheap controllers are good for some games, but not when precise movement is extremely important. It is comfortable, but noticeably lighter than a more premium controller. It has a cheaper feel to it, but in no way was I expecting it not to. My only complaint is that the shoulder buttons feel a little off and have super long travel distances. It's only a minor complaint and does not affect my overall opinion of the controller. For $22 this is an absolute steal and I'd recommend this controller to anyone looking for an extra controller or even someone that doesn't play on docked mode much and can't justify spending so much on the pro controller.

Good controller at a decent price
The Good: -inexpensive -very light weight compared to the pro controller -copies the Xbox One controller design -analog sticks are solid -has gyro controls -cool translucent black color -syncing is easy The Bad: -dpad isn’t great for fighting games as it has the same input issues as the pro controller -trigger buttons are digital not analog just like the pro controller, meaning it does not recognize pressure -the capture button is in a weird position at top the controller next to the LR button -gyro controls aren’t as smooth as the pro controller -poor batter life (10hrs or so) -you cannot wake the Switch unlike the pro controller -no “HD” Rumble (not a deal breaker) -no NFC (not a deal breaker)

Great alternative, motion control, rumble, and d-pad nice.
All that I can say is WOW for the money. This controller does everything I need in a controller that compares to the switch pro controller. I refused to pay $70 to Nintendo for a controller. Period. I've tested on Super Mario Odyssey and Zelda BOTW. Motion control works as expected and rumble function feels good. The pairing to my console was a snap, no problem, right out of the box. I'm a big Xbox fan and to me this controller is practically identical to the XB1 controller. Sticks are smooth and solid, buttons are not mushy, and YES the d-pad is worthy and feels nice in my hands. As an added benefit the weight seems about right. Make the jump, you can always return it in 30 days if you don't prefer it, alth o ugh I would think you would need to be pretty picky not to like this controller for the price vs quality ratio.

Works as advertised!
Everything that it claims it does! Motion controls? ✔ Wireless? ✔ Rumble? ✔ So if you just need a spare or a cheap option I would still argue that this will be a good choice! Here is my issue and why I will be returning it, dead zones. A dead zone is the travel a thumb stick has to move in order for the game you are playing to receive an input I.e. moving or turning around usually. My controller has a high dead zone to where I have to almost slide the stick to more than half way to the edge to get an input. Again it works as advertised and all of the features are there, but to anyone who is trying to play a shooter or similar game I cant recommend this.

Great at crashing your Switch
I wanted a controller that was cheaper than the Nintendo Pro. I'm not a stickler for loose buttons or a slightly awkward grip so a 3rd party controller seemed to be fine for my low expectations. The EEEKit wireless pro gaming controller arrived on time. I unboxed it, read the instructions on how to pair it to the Switch and started playing. The top left and right buttons were a little loose, but as I said before, that doesn't bother me. Then I went mobile with my Switch and that was the first glaring issue. This controller does not turn on the Switch. You have to power the console on and then within five seconds before the Switch auto sleeps, hold down the home button on the controller so it can connect. I played for awhile and the second glaring issue came up. This product comes with a micro USB cable for charging. Except the port is so small that a vast majority of cables won't fit into the frame. You literally need the USB cable that comes with it. Don't get me wrong, it's the correct cable to charge, but it will not fit passed the frame of the controller. You see all those cables you have lying around for your phones and tablets? Well each one has a plastic housing around it where it plugs in and that will not fit in the controller. I took my Switch with me somewhere, brought two cables with me, one for the Switch and one for the controller. Except I just grabbed one of the 100 cables I have lying around. Now I didn't have a controller to play with because they couldn't raise the port a little further up to accommodate the other 90% of micro USB cables. The last and the biggest problem. The Nintendo Switch came out with an update. Awesome, thanks Nintendo. Well when the update was complete, I turned on my Switch and held down my Home button on my brand new EEEKit Wireless Pro Gaming controller.... and the Switch crashed and told me to restart it. Well that's weird, let me try again. Nope. Instant crash when paired with this controller now. So I contact support. The support team recommends updating the drivers for the controller. So they e-mailed me a link to a cloud drive to download the files. So I downloaded them, plugged the controller into my computer (With the cable that I have to use) and updated the controller. Then I tried it again with my Switch... and nope. Still crashing my entire console. I wanted to give it a try. Even if the new drivers worked, what about the next time the Switch updates? Do I need to e-mail customer support again and wait for them to send me another link for new drivers? What about when the person stops e-mailing me back and all I have is a piece of plastic with the ability to crash my Switch? Spend more money and go with the Pro Controller. I got a refund and now that's what I'm going to do.

Great for friends or cheap Pro controller alternative!
I say like an 8/10 if the Pro controller is 10/10. If you're like me and have friends coming over for some co-op games or you can't afford a Pro controller this is a great alternative! I've only really played a couple games in Splatoon 2 with this to test it out I'll update this review if I find any issues with it. Pros: Very affordable. Wireless Motion Controls Regular Rumble Dedicated screenshot and power buttons Rechargeable battery (via mciroUSB) Good rubbery texture on the sticks Cons: Uses microUSB instead of USB Type C hopefully a new version gets this. The reason this is an issue is that if they were the same I could use the same cable for this one as I do for my other controllers. Slightly less responsive motion controls than the Pro controller but it gets the job done. Some people like analog triggers but I'm not a fan. No NFC so no Amiibo support but no third party controllers support this feature. Does not turn on Switch with Home button when the console is in sleep mode Haven't fully tested the battery but I fully expect it to not last that long. Rumble works decently I wouldn't say it's HD. Seems light compared to Pro controller but that doesn't matter for the most part.

Great controller at a great price
This controller truly has it all! Feels great, it’s wireless, has motion and rumble, and is a great price. After trying this controller and the Zelda themed corded controller ( Wired Controller Plus for Nintendo Switch - Zelda: Breath of the Wild ), I can say I prefer this one hands down. For me having it wireless makes a world of difference. I'm free to sit back 8 or 10 feet away from the TV and not worry about tipping the unit over, or having someone walk in front of me and hit it with a foot. Unlike other game systems I've had the Switch sits up vertically, so I feel like it's more prone to tipping or falling off the entertainment center even with a little tug of the cord, so this controller being wireless means I don't worry about that. The controller feels good in the hands, and has a relatively substantial feel. It also has rumble and motion control, which the Zelda (or Mario) themed controller doesn't have, and both seem to work adequately. Compared to the PowerA Zelda controller the joystick heads are slightly smaller and they travel farther, which I like. They also sound less “clacky”, which is one big complaint I have about the Zelda controller, it’s very loud. I've read complaints about the ZL and ZR buttons having too much travel distance, which I suppose I understand, but for me it's not a deal breaker. Overall I highly recommend this controller if you're looking for all the features of the Pro Controller but don't want to pay the high price for it.

Works well with Switch S/W 6+ Great Pad.
Very good pad, feels great works with the Switch update 6+ pretty easy to pair if you read the instructions lol, the supplied USB cable is a sloppy fit, I tried the one from my phone and it fits like a glove. Unable to find out how to do a software update and also haven't sussed out how to turn the switch on with the pad.

Overall, a Great controller for the Switch
Great controller it works with Nintendo switches latest update 5.1.0 I just got mine today and it didn't require update, it's synced straight away, little bit fiddly to get it to sync, it requires you to hold Y then the home button in that order until you see the home light flash, then release both buttons and let it pair, pretty simple after the know how, the controller is made of pretty cheap plastic and does have a small battery life, however this is shown in the price, I would seriously recommend this product for others who don't want to play full price for the PRO, it's not failed to sync and does react well to the switch, I may add this is almost identical to the XBOX ONE controller which is easily my favourite controller of all (PS3, PS4, XBOX360, XBOXONE) The Dpad is quite spongy like the XBOX ONE, LB and RB are very clicky and the triggers are spongy, this controller does have Rumble (NotHD, but still effective) gyro controls work very well. overall for price: 9/10 quality: 7/10 Useability: 7/10 (noNFC) weight distribution: 8/10 Battery life: 6/10

Best controller
Highly recommended! so so easy to set up. Home button + Y to set up, then every time after that you just press the Home button while on the change controller order screen in settings. It feels very plasticky but not a problem. Had many many hours of play from this and highly recommend, fraction of price of Pro controller.

When it works...
When it works, it is fantastic, and feels like a premium quality controller. The battery life is good and it connects to my switch no problem. HOWEVER: There is an somewhat frequent issue of the right hand joystick and A button going completely unresponsive. The quick fix seems to be to just wiggle the joystick but if you're playing a game that relies on well timed inputs (Smash bros, Dark Souls etc) then this issue can really affect gameplay. I can't seem to find anyone with the same issue so maybe I got unlucky. But still it is quite disappointing.
