Complete RIP-OFF - These are NOT 100 watt equivalency. They are 60-75 watt equivalency.

*by R***K on Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 2016*

Once I received these bulbs I did a light comparison against Philips and Ecosmart 100 watt equivalency bulbs and found these the dimmest of the batch. The next thing I noticed was that the power rating for these bulbs isn't anywhere near what it should be for a 100 watt equivalency rating. Philips is 14.5 watts, Ecosmart is 14 watts, but TIWIN says these are 11 watt bulbs, which makes it near impossible to put out a similar lumen ratio. These put out 1100 lumens, whereas other 100 watt equivalecy bulbs clock in at around 1500-1750 lumens. Look at any equivalency scale on the internet; 1100 lumens is considered 75 watt equivalency. This is a boondoggle. You don't simply get to say something is 100 watt equivalency and it becomes fact. This company should relabel these as 75 watt equivalent watt bulbs because their lumen output is nowhere near what it should be for a 100 watt equivalency bulb. In lieu of that, TIWIN should at least reevaluate its business model before moving forward, but something tells me this is simply a money grab on the part of a company that assumes its customers don't know enough about wattage to lumen ratio to notice the difference. They simply hope shoppers will see a cheaper price and think they're getting a deal (when really they aren't).Update - 8/8/16 - I just received an email from PROMIC asking me "if we can send you a free repalcement to resolve this problem? Cause customer reviews is important to us and we value your response. All responses will be used to further improve the quality of our service and products." Okay, first of all, this is a common tactic that companies use to silence their critics. We'll send you a freebie and your negative review goes bye bye. Nice try, PROMIC. I already stated what needed to be done and you simply decided to solve the problem in a way so many other companies do. Just throw some money (or a free product) at the problem and it will go away. If you really want to benefit from my review, try relabeling these bulbs as 75 watt fixtures because, again, they are not 100 watt equivalency bulbs. My review isn't going anywhere. It will stay here for all to see. Try not to misrepresent your bulbs in the future. That will help your product line more than anything else.Update 8/10/16 - A pleasant surprise. I see that TIWIN has, perhaps in light of my comments, relisted these bulbs as 75 watt equivalency in terms of their lumen output. I would like to praise TIWIN and PROMIC for listening to customer feedback and responding in a way that is both honest and beneficial to its customer base.Update 8/12/16 - Sigh. TIWIN/Promic has relisted these bulbs as 100 watt equivalency. The boondoggle continues. Buy these bulbs at your own risk. 1100 lumens is not 100 watt equivalency. It is 75 watt equivalency. Nice bait and switch, TIWIN.Update 2/4/2017 - Since first reviewing this product, I now count some 500+ 5 star reviews that have been posted in the last six months, the vast majority of which focus solely on the bulb's brightness. I'm not saying this company has given away thousands of free bulbs in hopes of boosting their product ratings, but I find this pattern suspicious and highly coincidental. Again, purchase these bulbs at your own risk. They are NOT 100 watt equivalent.

    Wrong product is being sold!!

*by J***H on Reviewed in the United States on December 3, 2016*

In the product description of this item it says that this is a 100 W equivalent lightbulb, this is a complete fabrication dare I say lie. A 100 W lightbulb is equivalent of 1600 lm according to the department of energy website the United States. I ordered these lightbulbs they came and there are equivalent is 1100 lm the seller is trying to pass off of 75 W lightbulb as though it is a 100 W lightbulb. I say this previous statement because everything else on the box aside from its lumen output has been listed in the product description, They conveniently then add 100 W equivalent which is a complete fabrication. Do not buy the product if you intend to get a 100 W lightbulb equivalent which equals 1600 lm. For those who don't understand what 1600 LM is LM refers to the word lumens this ishow you measure light you measure weight in pounds you measure light and lumens hope this helps. I would've given no stars if I could've.

Many bulbs failed with short life

*by G***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2017*

These bulbs are great, but they don't seem to last. I have ordered 24 of these over the past 6 months plus some of the flood lights. So far with less than 50 hours I have had 3 to start the LED flicker and had to be removed. The supplier indicated to get a refund from Amazon for the failed bulbs, but it is not worth the hazzle (although Amazon is always excellent on any returns). I am hoping that the bulbs do not continue to fail with such short life. Maybe I just got three bad bulbs or maybe the quality is poor on all the bubls. At this time I do not know which. I really like the bulbs that work, but I won't order this brand (tiwin) anymore until I get some more hours on the ones I have.Update. Bulbs continue to fail. I have changed from 2 to 1 star.
