I cannot comment on the streaming functions as this does not interest me. ### ⭐⭐ Maybe a too much hype on this Player *by A***R on 1 July 2024* Just received the unit. Wanted it play Apple Music in Hi Res. Dispute making all the necessary adjustment in the app and player, the best resolution I can get is 48/24 bit. Not sure if this unit was not reprogrammed to bypass Android conversion. I could get Hi Res from Roon which worked flawlessly. The major downside is that the sound quality is not that great. I tried both Balanced and Unbalanced audio outputs with similar disappointing results. I even tried a coaxial connection to my MacIntosh MA5300 which did sound better (based on price it should). However the most surprising thing is that I prefer the sound I was getting streaming from my Apple TV via HDMI to the my amplifier. Not sure if something is going on here with sound processing. I have 30 days to fully evaluate so I will try it out for a couple of weeks to see if my opinion changes. Pros: Looks good in a small form factor Excellent bright display Touchscreen is responsive Having Google Play store gives lots of options for 3rd party software Cons: Could not get Apple Music Hi Res...stuck at 48 Sound quality is disappointing - very thin and lifeless - analog & Digital Perhaps a touch too expensive for a modified Android phone.
