This is a great product wien your shaver, clipper, trimmer croaks on you. This happened to me. My electric clipper would no longer charge. It has a 5v power adapter. I found an end that fits my clipper. Plugged it in, but still no charging. Then, I noticed a polarity reverser adapter was included in the bag. When I added the polarity reverser, then the clipper began charging. GENIUS to include a polarity reverser. This inexpensive item got me out of a big jam!! Even if you don't need this today, if you have a 5v device that uses a flat female plug, then this adapter cable/plug would be great as a backup when your original charger commits Hara-kiri and you can no longer charge your device. Highly recommend as a backup or primary charger. Works for both.

I don't know what kind of appliances this cord operates, but it did not fit anything in my apartment. This must be for appliances in Europe. If you live in the States do not order this item.

Works perfect one set of clippers need the extension piece to work but all attachments work just fine
