I saw that you could do this from one review, but if the cap won't come off after a bit of force, I'd stop. **Q: i have never had a real cube before so what do you mean about by standard size?** A: Nowadays we have several Rubik's knock offs, different sizes and several pieces, for example I have seen one with 4 squares by side it means 24 squares in total instead of 54. In the other hand I have found one with 18 squares by side, total 108!!! This is why I said the original standard number of squares.
