I was seriously hoping that these were Made in U.S.A like some Lisle products. **Q: Is the tip fairly sharp or squared off?** A: The tips are squared off, not a chisel point. FYI, the smaller one is very useful for small automotive electrical connections. **Q: The obvious question, how are these better than a small flathead screwdriver for most use cases?** A: These are mini pry bars with a magnet on the handle, they're great for disconnecting electrical automotive terminals and anything else you need a small pry bar for, won't work as a flat blade screwdriver.
