In FL any wire below 6 ft. must be covered, it cannot be just plain insulated wire. It must have conduit around it. This being AC converted to DC , it is not required. So much quicker and less expensive. They worked perfectly. Saves time and money by piggy backing each light into the next. The whole string can operate from one switch.I installed a box with sockets in it at 7 ft. and plugged the AC cord into it then ran my lights from there. Problem solved. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great for connecting fixtures *by R***. on Reviewed in the United States on August 22, 2019* Great for hardwiring. I save the leads with the in-line switches for multiple uses! Remember though, never exceed the recommended 5 lights as suggested. The Wire Size shouldn't exceed 3 amps to be safe: watts x voltage = AMPS! For example if you want 10 lights in a row it's not a problem IF after the 5th light you increase the Wire Size. One cable had a bad connector, in that the metal contact inside was seated too far out, and prevented the connector from fully seating, thus preventing the other two connectors from making contact. I tried shaving it down, but ended up wiring up one of the spare harnesses left from on the bulbs I bought in the same order.
