It was about $15 cheaper than the American DJ all white one this replaced. I was skeptical about the 15 w brightness claim with the bonus of the extra colors and blending modes for less money but decided to give this one a shot and I was pleasantly surprised. It certainly was much brighter than its predecessors and it really does shine light strong enough to make a mirror ball project well. The 4 color modes together with the blending/program modes give enough variation, some more colors would be nice, but on the mirror ball it isn't a big deal for me. It stays cool after using for 6 hrs. The focus range (making projection smaller/larger) could be a little larger but it hasn't been an issue when setting up. The remote is easy to use and works well. The housing is plastic and the screw and metal plate for attaching it to a surface does not feel super durable but for something that doesn't move much or is safely out of the way it seems good enough. Over all I think with the brightness and color options on this led pin spot you just can't beat the value.
