The weight difference is also found between the interior pans, though not as much as the main pots.That being said, this thing is STILL seriously hardy (it stomps MSR and GSI pots for strength hands down) so, even with the change, I think it keeps its place as the best billy to pack in your kit for long term use. I skip taking the interior pan, personally, as I don't need it, and when I need to cook, I pop off the plastic handle tabs so they don't melt.The GSI stainless tea kettle slides right inside, so you can cook food and have a cup at the same time (I set the kettle on an opened bandana before sliding it in, to keep it quiet and to avoid scratching the interior of my billy as I move about).Hope this helps. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pot with metal clips *by D***O on Reviewed in Canada on 16 October 2018* Perfect size to do some roasting with the firebox stove.
