It is a little noisier than the bigger machine I had and doesn't have the bells and whistles like the other such as the coffee pod holder doesn't open out for you when raising the handle, no clock or timer, and a bigger water reservoir on the side. This machine has the reservoir in back making it just a little more inconvenient. The plusses are that it's less expensive, makes the pod coffee at the same time, and takes up less counter space.
