As a mechanical engineer and machinist, I really appreciated the good machine work & material selection. It is strong and the design is well thought out. Most importantly, from a safety perspective, the quick release latch makes me feel good about my home being secure while we are also able to easily escape in case of fire. Also worth mentioning is that the pet release feature also allows us to open the blinds during the day without having to remove the bar.
