I recently installed this WESECUU Light Bulb Security Camera, and I’m honestly impressed with how much it offers for the price. Setup couldn’t have been easier, I simply screwed it into the light socket, connected it to Wi-Fi, and it was up and running within minutes. The video quality is clear both during the day and at night, and the color night vision is a huge upgrade from my older b/w security cameras. I can see much more detail, which gives me extra peace of mind. One feature I really enjoy using is the two-way audio. It lets me check in on my kids and even talk to my dog when I’m away from home, which has been surprisingly useful. Overall, this camera has been a simple, affordable, and effective way to add extra security around my home without dealing with complicated wiring or installation.

I must say I was very impressed with this camera system . For the affordable price it worked really well. The color, visibility and Clarity are really good but The Wi-Fi capability is very weak. I was barely able to get it connected about 30 ft from the Wi-Fi source but thank God it connected. It comes with a wall plug adapter in case it can't screw into your light bulb socket and i'm glad it did because one was able to screw in and the other wasn't so the wall plug adapter was useful. Having plugged it in to the wall I was barely able to get the camera to point in a suitable position because although it says it has 360 & 90 degree rotations I could barely find a suitable position it often showed upside down. The same applied for screwing it into my ceiling fan so I have to use a lamp for the inside camera. It says it has human detection so that it doesn't alert you for every silly thing that blows past but a lot of times it will say human detected but there is no human nonetheless it gives good live feeds. I had read the reviews for some people said don't change their money because you will be required to pay a $50 subscription per year per camera but somehow felt I could have figured out a way around it . I was wrong. It was working wonderfully for me so I thought I had gotten away from having to buy the cloud subscription. I was wrong. I guess today makes 13 days since I've installed it because when I tried using the app today it says I've been using it for 13 days and now they require me to buy a cloud subscription. It doesn't give you the option to decline the offer and you can't even get off that screen with the ad to continue using the system. The ad just took up the whole screen and wouldn't allow me to get it off ... So I went back to Amazon and reread the reviews and it seems nobody has been able to bypass that requirement. The description of the product says that the camera SUPPORTS cloud Subscription and made it sound like you had an option but it failed to say that it was absolutely REQUIRED. Luckily my return window hasn't passed so I have quickly set up my return option and will definitely be returning it. I live in a very safe neighborhood and only bought these as an Avenue to monitor my puppy while I'm away... so $100 a year is absolutely not worth it for me. I wish this cloud subscription was not so intrusive because I actually like the camera functionality UPDATE Even though I had decided to return it I woke up the next morning and tried dealing with it again. Inside the app beside each camera feed there's a support button (looks like an operators headset). I clicked it and quickly got through to a very helpful agent who guided me to an upgraded app that has less ads. and she confirmed that the cloud subscription is not mandatory and I could use it without buying a subscription. So far so good. I've gotten rid of that intrusive cloud ad that wouldn't come off my screen.. And the camera is working well again. I might buy an SD card to go with it. Still having Wi-Fi strength issues for the one at my front door

Great security cam. I use this to keep track and in direct touch with my dementia parent (and keep an eye on my dogs) when I'm not home, camera also has pan, tilt, zoom in, and has 2 way talk capabilities. At night, this can also alert me when my parent wanders around the home. Can also use a memory card to record without paying a subscription price. Uses essee cloud software, same as my other camera for easy one app usage for 2 room camera coverage. I like that this camera works on my 5g home wifi signal. (2.4 also). You can also save selected video clips, or choose to record clips to your gallery and take real time photos. Set up was easy and many settings for alerts and schedule recordings options, there are also inexpensive optional cloud subscriptions offered if you don't want to use an inserted micro SD memory card (not included).

Really happy with this camera so far. The video quality is nice and clear, and the app is actually pretty easy to use and navigate. Setup wasn’t complicated, and everything has worked the way it’s supposed to. I haven’t had any issues or complaints with it. For the price, it does exactly what I wanted it to do and I’m very satisfied with it.

First time ever to purchase a lightbulb security camera. Very easy to install. Everything was working fine. Received on April 9, 2025. This last week of June the alarm and intercom stopped working. I reset it. Went into the app and added it again. Nada. I don’t know what happened. I can still view the outside but I don’t get alerts when people are near. Great storage capacity since once the micro sd card is full it will write over the old stuff. Any memories from outside family gatherings you can save to the files on your phone or computer. I really like this product and I will buy it again. Perhaps night flying bugs got in the light fixture. I blew out the surrounding area of the light fixture with a can of air and small dead debris flew out. Probably a maintenance issue due to night flying bugs being attracted to the light? Storage capacity: Great. Picture quality: It’s fair especially for the price. You can screenshot images which is also handy for enlarging the photo. Connectivity: Was very easy to setup and connect. Sensitivity: When the alarm was working I noticed it was very sensitive to human and vehicle motion. Talk ability: It was a great feature for thanking delivery drivers and talking to the lawn care workers. Features: images in color all day. At night it is black and white but you choose night vision and when there’s human or vehicle motion it’s all in color. UPDATE: Bottom line I would not waste more money on this product. The above comment was before I just noticed that the device is not even recording anymore. It’s telling me to purchase a Cloud account. I found out that there has been a recent update for this device. I’m glad I hadn’t clicked submit. I came back specifically to discuss the latest issue. NOT Recording. I can however, view my property. I read complaints that after the update when you opened the app you got a full page ad about buying a Cloud account. That doesn’t seem to give you the opportunity to cancel it. Read contract carefully. Maybe the 3 days or 7 days Cloud account would be safe. But that’s more money. No thanks. So, I’m not positive whether night flying bugs caused the problems I’m experiencing. When the ordinary light bulb was being used it never stopped working. Night flying bugs are attracted to light!! But it’s definitely suspicious that the device is not working after the update and ever since I’ve had it I’ve gotten popup Cloud ads before I could view my property. Then with the update I too got full page ads before being able to use the app. Before purchasing I read a review which said that if you don’t buy the Cloud account after a while the app stops working. Two months of use is a waste of good money.

Really nice camera! You can plug it into a duplex socket or you can screw it into a light fixture. The camera has an adjustable field of view in that the camera will turn either by adjustment in the app or once set by itself. You can program 6 pre set positions and it has a LED light alarm and a siren alarm. I think it is a very good value! Except for a power outage it is worry free! Set up is about 10 seconds after you download the app.

No problem connecting

This is the second one we have bought. They work well and although have a splash IP rating, they should be installed under the eaves and not totally exposed to the weather. Very happy with it
