I usually use my processor when cooking for 6 people or less, and the eight cup has always been more than sufficient to handle that quantity of ingredients. If you usually cook for a larger crowd, you may want the 11 cup bowl, but otherwise the 8 cup should be sufficient. You could always process in batches if you only occasionally require a larger bowl for processing. **Q: Can i buy additional discs for this machine? french fry disc? whipping blade? citrus juicer?** A: Addie must have missed “These are the only blade and discs for this item.” in the seller’s response. **Q: Do the slices come out beveled or of equal thickness on the entire slice? Does this attachment otherwise work well?** A: I don’t use the dicer anymore. It’s a poor design requiring too mush work. To dice , I preslice my vegetables lengthwise and then feed them through the slicing blade. **Q: I want to does this come with a case to hold the blades? It's high powered and great quality. Very easy to clean and easy to use overall. The first time I used it, it stopped working in the middle of my job. However after troubleshooting and studying the manual I discovered it was an automatic shut off due to being over worked. After letting it rest for about 5 minutes it came right back on and I've had no problems with it. Now I know not to overfill it and also not to run it for too long.
