Use the round wax paper things on the top and bottom of the press or you will have hamburger meat stuck all up on the metal of the press. I wouldn’t use this item unless you have a lot of burgers to press out. Taking it apart and cleaning all the parts is a little time consuming as you have to let it air dry before reassembling it.
