Review: Surprisingly good... - Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought this for a full size 3-18x50 scope for modern sporting rifle. I was concerned with the eye relief being an issue, but to my surprise, I had plenty of room between the cantilever and upper to get the scope set up properly. I was also s skeptical of the quality, but it is well built, machining and coating look to be perfect. Not sure why anyone would spend 200-400 on boutique/high end bases, when Arken and Vortex have such quality products. I suppose if you need the bling, spend the money, I would rather put the money in the scope.
Review: Quality Product - I put this item on my $3,000 dollar AR…. So you can say it’s worth it. I also had gunsmith mount this to my weapon as well as my Geotech $$ scope. That should tell you how much trust I have in this product. So far so good no issues, it has stayed level after rounds and rounds of bullets. I’m not a throw my guns around type of guy, I take care of my things so I think this product will last me many years. And Arken overall is a great product.

Build quality is high, despite being made in China. Precisely machined to 30mm, no obvious mismatch of high or low spots when you put the scope in. No hard edges or bulk to snag on. T25 fasteners on scope caps and base. Smooth finish, not too glossy or matte. 6061 series aluminum.
