Our son is 10 and has taken up cubing as a sport. He is a member of the World Cubing Association and has participated in one event already. He is not competitive yet, as he can (only!!!) solve a cube in 38 seconds and that is not fast enough to be competitive. I have never solved more than one side of a Rubik's cube in my life, but he can solve a scrambled cube in almost 30 seconds.So... we have taken to looking for unusual cubes for his collection. We went to a competition in North Charleston and we saw others with this cube. It is basically a regular Rubiks cube in a different structure, but it is solved just like a regular 3x3x3 cube.Well made, surprisingly decent movement and inexpensive.
