I found the setting for power at 50 watt and 5000k to be the best for my use. The illumination level provided is a huge improvement over my old fluorescent units. The only negative point is that the units are hard to get into a standard 2 x 4 ceiling grid. The overall size of the unit is only one quarter inch less than 2 x 4 and you have to fight against any tiny imperfections in your grid. They would be greatly improved with even one eight inch less size each way. Be sure to set your selection switches before final drop in as the switches are hidden and inaccessible behind the grid bar when in place. Other positives for them are the much thinner and lighter weight design for handling.Once in place they are great lights and I will order more to replace more old units.
