Ok, so first off, this isn't UY Chan branded. Second thing to keep in mind is that the Open Source TS100 project created an amazing soldering iron that is being copied by many manufacturers, and most of the great points you'll see made about these kinds of tips are all the same from the open source designs. So to be fair, they get 3 stars for not messing up a fantastic design, but I honestly can't see anything better than average and the price is a rip. Keep looking, you can find sets where each tip is ~$6.

I got this tip because I had some very tiny (to me) parts to solder for a project. With having no prior SMD soldering experience, I was able to fairly easily solder the 0603 parts that the tip included with my TS100 iron would just carry away.Heats up lightning fast but lacks enough thermal mass to deal with any heavy ground planes. One cap needed this tip to solder the non-grounded side, then another beefier tip to deal with the ground plane on the other. But over all, I like this tip for intricate work.

I purchased the I-Tip from UY Chan via Amazon about 1.5 years ago.  Total use time for this tip is under 1.5 hours.  The rear silver band where the power is transferred to the tip broke off from the insulator.  The tip had been having issues with getting to and maintaining temp.  Now I know that is likely due to the faulty band.  Unfortunately, this is not an easily repairable issue, so this one is now garbage.  Overall, I am not impressed with the quality.
