I vacuum once a week and wash in the washing machine when necessary. The backing does eventually wear, as you would expect especially if you are washing them frequently, but I still think they are well worth the money compared to others in the market place. The colour mixes are lovely and I alternate between two different colours when one is in the wash, and they really brighten up the kitchen. I have them on painted floorboards and they stay put pretty well with a springer spaniel bouncing around!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality mats *by C***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 June 2021* I bought 2 identical mats to protect my new carpet from spillages transferring from my kitchen floor. My dishwasher is in a separate utility room and my sons are not careful when loading it. The mats are at substantially thick and have a good quality backing. They came well packaged and rolled up, but laid flat after a day or so. I haven't had to wash them yet as they seem fairly stain resistant. I think you have to pay a bit more for good quality, so they are worth the cost compared to the cheaper pound shop versions I have had in the past. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Still wearing well *by F***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 April 2020* We bought this runner some time ago to go on a wood hall floor which takes a fair bit of tread from the front door.It is wearing remarkably well and still looks like new. We particularly wanted something which would not slip and this one remains in place so no safety issues there.
