I was born and raised in America and I can say for sure that the majority of our television programming SUCKS! it's mostly poorly written, made, directed, acted, etc...I'm 38 and love this show! like most british tv. it's rare that they make rubbish. Probably around 30% of what america makes is a remake of a british show and to date (9/10/10), the only show the brits have ever remade of ours is law and order. what does that tell you..? that says to me that they are much more clever and funny than we are. americans are way to sensitive about their FICTION! one of my biggest wishes is for someone to make available satelite tv in this country where we can pick up all or most of british tv channels. i would be in 7th heaven!!!!!!!! Review: Amazing - Amazing TV series, well worth the money. A lot of violence and sex scenes, though, and only really suitable for 16+. Good story lines and shows a lot of realistic situations for a lot of teenagers, with a lot of realistic solutions. Some bits are really funny and other bits make you just want to cry and hug the characters! I think Skins is unexplainable unless you've watched it.
