I also used this for about a week before reviewing it.In spite of the price I am very pleased with how well this beard lotion works for me. I have very sensitive skin and combination acne to boot, so finding a product that does not aggravate these preexisting conditions is like finding a needle in a haystack for me. I used this in tandem with the unscented beard wash and was definitely impressed with the results. A little really does go a long way because I only have to use about the size of a dime to get the desired result, and I have a fairly big beard too. It moisturizes my beard and the skin underneath it without making it oily or dried out, and combing through my beard is a breeze. I only need to use it once a day after washing it to keep my beard in shape with the occasional comb-through, so I feel like it will last me quite some time before I need to re-order it. I accidentally left it it for 2 days before washing it out and even then I did not experience any negative side effects. Although it is unscented my roommate noticed that it has a faint woodsy scent to it, but it could just be the product itself combined with my natural pheromones. I have yet to notice the scent my roommate described, but I love things that smell woodsy so I'm totally fine with that. I like the beard wash and beard lotion so much that I plan on buying the Bluebeards intensive beard repair cream to go with my beard care regimen. All in all, I definitely recommend this product to anyone with sensitive skin. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed *by S***Y on Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2014* I bought this product after my wife had been complaining how "prickly" my beard was to her. I attributed this to dryness or lack of conditioning. I figured a leave-in conditioner like this could help soften my beard and make it more luxurious. Honestly, it hasn't. The product goes on great, and it feels fantastic for a little while, but as soon as the stuff dries, it's back to square 1.I'm writing this review after about 2 weeks of applying the product twice a day, and honestly I haven't noticed any kind of difference. My wife was skeptical that I'd actually been using it, because there was no perceivable change on her end. I use a conditioner on my beard in the shower every day, and apply Bluebeards twice a day as well. It's great if you could keep putting it in every two hours or so, but honestly with as much money as you shell out for a jar of this, that's just not feasible, nor is it practical in any sense. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great balm for dry hair. *by B***E on Reviewed in the United States on March 19, 2017* This stuff is great. I have found no other product that soaks into a dry beard like Bluebeards Beard Saver. I have used a ton of different products. Most balms are too waxy to really work in dry, and I find using oils when my hair is really dry (like during the winter) just gets super greasy.As the container says it is unscented, but there is still a smell from the actual ingredients. I have found that 4 drops of my favorite oil makes it smell great (even if I use it just before bed and it's smushed into my face).This winter was the first time I have grown my beard out, and I had issues with dry skin and hair.
