Can you use this with a tablet camera instead of a smartphone?

According to intro of the book, a smartphone is recommended, but other kinds of cameras will work, as long as it can be easily held and positioned to take pictures. I hope this helps.

Lego Minifigure Photography

It's well laid out has some great creative ideas and simple 'how to' s to get a novice started in minifigure photography and then move on to photographing other toys. It would have been even better if it had included more Lego figures and pieces to use.

Great addition to your playset!

Christmas present for son. He (&i) love it. Lots of pieces that can be used to tell a story with lego. Gets us all out as a family with his minifigures going on adventures now. Good book with it also, great for wet days indoor activities. Would recommend for children.... and adults.

Better than expected!

My 8-year-old has had a lot of enjoyment from this set. At first glance, it seems that you don't get much content for the price, but, even though there aren't many Lego bricks, there are lots of instructions and tips in the book that, along with the background sets, have really sparked his imagination and encouraged hours of play.

Figure stick

Book doesn’t hold much interest, main reason for buying was see through stick for Lego figures but even the stick is smaller and shorter than actual Lego ones which is silly for photography.
