They are all in a single panel that interlocks into the manger. Standing sheep is about 12", sitting sheep is about 10". They are anchored with metal rods that are easily attached to the back of the sheep. Overall a very nice nativity that's easy to put together. Hope this helps. Or should we get the 72” high set?** A: We have the smaller nativity scene because our front yard doesn’t sit that far off the road. we would probably suggest that you get the larger one. **Q: My front yard isn't flat. Can I put this on a sloped front yard?** A: Not without having the nativity scene slope, as well.
