Worth the price. Pretty good range, the plane goes out of sight before I lose control. However, the servos are weak and bind up really easily. I put this into a hobby zone champ airframe and the foam hinges for the elevator were enough resistance to bind the servo on full down. After some fiddling, I do believe I have resolved the issue. ~6 month Update: I have purchased 9 of these receivers. 4 of the 244 and 5 of the 144. They are excellent receivers. The only complaint I have with them is the 244 needs the hinges to be as little resistance as possible so they don’t bind up. They have the torque to be sufficient in any ultra micro plane weighing less than about 2oz. The 144 is excellent as well. I’ve used those in micro sail planes, rc conversion of free flight kits and put into discontinued planes. Definitely my go-to for micro plane builds. Review: V4.2 No throttle?? UPDATED 4-29-26 - I have 5 or 6 of these, and they all worked great until the most recent one (V 4.2). It has an independent Mbus port. I get no throttle, the telemetry and connection cuts out frequently and it is not detected by the MXO config tool. I've tested the others with the same radio, model and settings, they all work and connect, etc. This newest one only gives servo control and NEVER throttle. I'm certain it is connected correctly, the motor will power up if the radio is on the wrong protocol and it goes all wacky, but it never works from the transmitter as it should. AGAIN, the radio is fine, there is no throttle cut activated, I mapped it to every other channel, and nothing. I can leave the radio on, power up an older board with the same settings, and they work fine. It's just the V4.2. I'm sending it back, but am anxious to buy another until these issues are addressed. UPDATE: Am in communication with customer service, they have been VERY good with their effort to find the issue. I have amended my rating to reflect the excellent service and attention they have given my complaint. I will edit further if any progress is made. He noted recently, however, that the board layout varies from receiver to receiver. Interesting.
