Canada's ultimate Renaissance man has bounced from grizzled heartland rock to soft-focus middle-of-the-road pop without employing a safety net--or even a consultant to warn him that his legion of fans is definitely split between the two genres. For the most part, Adams steers clear of his later power ballads on this acoustic (but hardly stripped-down) set, instead reaching back to concentrate on such choogling classics as "Summer of '69." Bryan Adams concert in CD form
A good album for someone who's looking for a second album to really sample his music or for a fan looking for good collection of his best songs. It has a good mix of his older works such as 'I'm Ready' and 'Heaven' and more recent releases - all with the normal variations expected with live performances.

Considering this CD was only just over £3.00 I can only say this is one great product. The sound quality is first class. This MTV live show shows what a great live artist Bryan Adams really is. If you like Bryan Adams you need to add this CD to your collection.

Refreshing
I'm a fan so I loved it, has very good production for a nice clear sound, excellent cd as I love to here live music and this doesn't disappoint. Bryan Adams is a master of live music. I recommend it......... Of course!!!!!!!!

A true classic that will always play on and play well
Before MTV gave up the ghost on Music completely they did come up with a few programs that were truly inspired. MTV's Unplugged being one of them. This show encouraged musicians to really showcase their talents by stripping down to the basics. Just them and instruments, no mixing, no enhancers just their vocals. It was a personal challenge really as it was truly exposing themselves to the public. Interestingly for every musician that arose to the challenge there was three or four that ran and hid. For those that took the chance there were the expected mixed results. However a few came thru not only unscathed but the diversity and truth of their talent was enhanced and even brought up a notch. Bryan Adams is one of those that came thru with flying colors as his vocals are true to form and he even shows his creativity in instrumentation by re-imaging several pieces here most noteably melding "If ya wanna be bad - ya gotta be good" with "Let's make a night to remember" turning a ballad into a rousing rocker and the now well played "I'm Ready". Originally a hard rocker from his second album he has added an orchestra and slowed the tempo creating a truly ethereal piece. Adams really shows his range and caliber here. For me this album aptly illustrates why a musician like Bryan Adams will always be relevant.
