The Ones I bought awhile ago wood top was countersunk so you could not slide ur drink off the edges easily(had to knock it over). These are not, just flat smooth top (will slide off easy). However, they are attractive and functional. Mind the directions why assembling. It looks like super easy, but bolt holes have to go a certain way.
