I air dry to encourage my curls and waves.** A: I have somewhat thick curly hair that frizzes. Does nothing for my hair except give me a combable head of hair that feels soft. I have tried many products, this is the best. **Q: Can you use it after curling or straightening your hair?** A: I don't know. I use it before styling because it helps with de-tangling and protects hair from the heat of blow dryers, curling irons, etc. **Q: What are the ingredients?** A: Sorry, I do not know. I have a tricky-to-please hair type and scalp combo that quickly lets me know if a product is not cutting the muster. This formula is light, helps detangle, and helps hold in moisture (works better when used in tandem with a serum) so my hair doesn't go crazy. It doesn't seem to irritate my scalp, either, so that is a huge bonus! I've tried everything from Johnson's and Johnson's detangler (for gentleness) to Pantene's leave-in detangler/conditioner, to Redken's leave-in conditioner, and several other brands along the way. Nothing had a good combo of effective and affordable (girl on a budget here!) until this product, so I would highly recommend this for someone who wants an effective leave-in without the budget shuffle required for the higher-end brands. The only reason this gets a 4 out of 5 is because I have only been using it for a week or two, and the long-term use effects will be easier to see after a month or more.
