Review: Loki is a fantastic series, collector tins are a waste of packaging and no HD option is not cool - The Loki series is excellent. Sadly Marvel/Disney did not make available a standard HD DVD set for Region 1 so I'm hoping this is Blu-ray Region A, and not 4k/HD, My Sony Blu-ray first gen DVD player can only handle standard HD and standard 1080p Blu-ray discs. The tin is nice but is honestly over-kill as a package. I don't know why other than to charge more for two DVDs Disney has moved to having all their streaming series (all of which seem to be ~ 6 episodes two discs) to these collector's TINs rather than a two disc tray blue plastic DVD case. But the series is awesome. I feel like Disney is wishing fans would not request physical media. I have 24 films over 12 years of the MCU, all came as HD or a combined HD/Blu-ray/DigitalDownloadCode format, but at some point that format and package went away and all we have are these tins. Season 2 is ONLY 4K/HD Blu-Ray so if you only have a standard Blu-ray player, Season 2 will NOT play on your device. I don't understand that choice by Disney where the two seasons are on two different formats, it makes no sense. Review: Fantastic show - A great entry to the Marvel Cinematic Universe canon. Loki is back and he’s as good as ever. More anti-hero than hero. The time traveling storyline is fun.
