That post lamp is on a day night sensor to save on electricity and to be on when I come home at night, but it keep cycling though light modes one per day! This is a Stupid design! a switch on the side would be better or a fast cycling to get to a setting and then if left on for a min. sets it to stay that way until another fast on/off cycling ? But No, you have to turn it off and on the number of time to get to your wanted setting and then after it is off do it all again. Stupid. Useless. No longer a fashion thing but only a novelty item.
