I was skeptical about the power switching off on its own, but it does work. when I got home from work I received the package and charge my phone right away, left and came back. charging stopped and saw that phone was at 99%, the led's do correlate to if it is charging or not. seems to switch off once you'll need to unplug and plug back in to reset switch. cord does support at least 2 amp charging. well worth the buy since i tend to forget that i left my phone on the charger. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Supports fast charging and fast transfer USB 3.0 cable *by N***N on February 4, 2018* I'm very excited to share my experience about this new auto disconnect fast charging cable by Nuegeek.
