Review: Works Very Well! - I stopped using all gel nail products but wanted a way to wear nail polish for two weeks, and this delivers! When I prep my nails properly and use this base coat, my manicures and polish lasts two full weeks. I've gone as far as 3 weeks without a chip, but the growth and wear at the tips (it does wear by that time from daily abuse caused by me to my nails) by then is becoming apparent. It applies easily in one quick coat and dries sticky to grip the polish. It works well and helps me have healthier nails with longer polish grip. I'm extremely happy with it!

**Q: How long is the ideal time to wait after applying this before applying nail polish on top? Is it most effective if still wet? Thank you!!**
A: I bought this after having my nails done, with this, at my nail salon and seeing how long my manicure lasted. Just like at the salon, I apply this to all my nails first, then go back and apply my nail polish. By the time you do all 10 fingers, the first nail is almost dry. Also, a trick I learned from my nail salon, after the first coat of nail polish, I apply a second coat of this base,  then a second coat of nail polish and finish with a good top coat. I have had my manicures last almost two weeks this way.

**Q: second time I am asking this question.    Does this product have any petroleum/latex ingredients in it?**
A: In ORLY BONDER 0.6oz/18ml

This product is easy to use. I love the wide tipped brush. It gets most of my nail covered in just one or two strokes which makes it quick and easy. Dry time is quick and its streak free. There is a slight odor using the product but it dries quickly and dissipates. The color is clear which makes it ideal for transparent nail wraps as well.
