When the new Dyson battery came it also was dead. Since this is not the only thing happening in my life, I put it aside, figuring I could deal with it later and have tried a few times to charge it. But it's also defective. I called them today and they said the same--that they didn't stock this vacuum or parts for it--even though it's the first one listed on their website. And the new battery will cost over 250 AED and take 30-45 days to arrive. Seems the idea is just to make you give up and buy another. Non-existant customer service I put it in the garbage today.
