my advice: better as well get a good shock absorbing back cover. I say this becoz i bought just this screen guard and a little bump caused a little wearout in a little of the display(lrd) and some tike later the screen turned black(got permanently damaged, they said the liquid spilled out) ,and if u arent in any kind of warranty(within 1 yr of ourchase or apple care) , u need to pay ~55k to get it replaced by apple(for 15inch) or ~30k by local repair guys. better get the apple care at the time of purchase, and avoid any kind of bumps. dont buy any glossy screen device if ur clumsy like me:)

The item was pretty good overall. The installation process is very simple and easy. However, the screen quality is not quite satisfactory, even though it fits perfectly. The only issue I've encountered is that it broke after 36 days of installation, which I believe is due to pressure on the display. One corner of the display protection shattered, possibly because of this pressure. Despite this, the value for money is still good, though it could be better. It fits perfectly on the display screen. One of my friends advised me not to attach any third-party screen protectors, as Apple devices do not require them.

The fit is spot-on—precise cutouts for the notch, camera, and edges, with no overhang or gaps that could collect dust or interfere with the display. Application was surprisingly straightforward for a full-coverage glass protector: the included alignment frame snaps the glass into place perfectly on the first try, no bubbles or misalignment. I wiped everything down with the provided cloths, peeled the backing, and it went on smooth in under two minutes. No dust trapped underneath, and the edges sit flush so it doesn't catch on anything when closing the lid. The glass itself is super thin (feels almost like it's not there) but still has that satisfying hardness—resists fingerprints way better than the naked screen, and minor swipes with a microfiber cloth keep it looking pristine. Clarity and touch response are unchanged; colors pop the same on the Liquid Retina display, and the oleophobic coating does a great job keeping oils at bay during long typing or scrolling sessions. It adds basically zero bulk, so the MacBook still closes fully flat and slips easily into sleeves or backpacks. I've had no issues with lifting at the edges after a couple months of daily use, even with opening/closing the lid hundreds of times. For the price, it's one of the best screen protectors I've used on any laptop—durable, invisible protection without compromising the premium feel. excellent product, worth the money. easy application

The main purpose is to avoid the keyboard makign marks on the screen which is something that plagued by MacBook experience over the past decade. It does that very well, does not add glare or degrade the quality of the screen. Easy to install but does require an ultra clean surface with absolutely no dust spec and all items including sricker for the removing dust are provided in the kit.
