This has been such a great upgrade for car rides with bigger dogs. It feels very sturdy and secure, and the hard bottom makes a huge difference in comfort and support. My dogs actually seem more relaxed because they have a stable space instead of trying to balance on the seats. It was easy to assemble and just as easy to take down when needed, which makes it really practical. I was especially impressed that it can comfortably hold three large breed dogs around 110 pounds each, so it clearly handles weight well without sagging. Overall it feels well made, dependable, and perfect for anyone traveling with multiple dogs.

I have really enjoyed this back seat extender and cover for my car. It is so nice to have the extra space, great for long trips. I usually keep it in my car just to load groceries on top of too. Keeps my leather seats protected, and stays in place. I have washed it in the machine on gentle and its held up great, air dry. The boards inside have a little cushion, and they are easy to take out. Not too bulky, great value for the money.

This is an amazing product! I’ve had it for about a month it’s perfect in the back of my car you can tighten the straps around the headrest so that it’s smooth and not bubbled up. You can brush dog fur hair out without it sticking to any thing in your car. And it is waterproof. It looks great I got the black one with the gray pad.The floor is solid and wide fitting to the back of the front seats. And then there’s a removable padded quilted blanket that can be washed. I couldn’t say enough wonderful things . And you can also fit the dog seatbelt on through a slot in the bottom of the seat cover. That was perfect for me. My dog loves it I love it it’s great!

Update-Been using it now for 8 mths and it has held up to two large breeds. I use it with a folded cotton quilt, which makes it cooler for them . It is up to a 2000 mile road trip! I would buy this again and since I don't use the door side panels, I just fold them under, it makes a private storage space underneath for shopping - viewable only when the door is open. I use a couple of covered wastebasket type bins from Walmart underneath behind the front seats for more support in the foot well area. I purchased XL , described as full-size SUV, for a 2011 Expedition mainly because I wanted full back seat coverage. Most seemed too short side-to-side. It fits perfectly side-to-side and front-to-back. HOWEVER, the headrest straps are too long for a good fit. Only one side of the headrest strap is adjustable. Had it been adjustable on both sides of the buckle so I could cinch it in more, I'd have given it 5 stars. And I definitely think it would be a good idea to add support under the extended edge, but that's probably true of all brands for big heavy dogs. All-in-all, it does fit perfectly in my back seat, and by winding the headrest straps around a couple of times I got a tight fit each way. It looks good, will help with dirt and water on the seat. I like that the window is mesh and will allow better ac in the back seat. Time will tell if it holds up . If not I'll return and adjust my rating. It came with a seat belt strap, but I'd prefer to use the child car seat anchors under the seat anyway, will order other dog-attachment straps and use those. Seems pretty well made and came with nice storage bag.

As a proud owner of a full grown German Shepherd with anxiety issues, I’ve gone through several back seat extenders for dogs, but none have impressed me like this one. In short, this is by far the best back seat extender I’ve used and I’m grateful for the peace of mind it provides for both me and my furry companion. Pros: Durable, even after years of use. Provides ample support for large dogs. Fits perfectly in my 2021 Honda Civic Hatchback. Does not bend or fold, unlike cheaper models. Cons: None that I’ve experienced this product has been a game changer for whaty I was looking for! Definitely worth the investment for any pet parent with large dogs.

Much better than the last back seat cover as it hasn't got holes for the hair to fall through! Much Sturdier, too. More room for my dogs to sit, lie down and turn around. Love the pockets. Keeps everything organized. Recommend who transports their dogs in the car. Easy to set up, take down and clean up with a damp cloth. Especially good for multiple dogs.

Received the back seat extender for our large German Shepard. The quality is very nice, so easy to install, sturdy and fits perfectly. Easy to set up. Works great at keeping the dogs contained in the back seat. Very sturdy. Love the carrying case it goes in when not in use.

So far (1 month in) this has been great, I purchased a medium and it fits well in our 2026 Toyota BZ. like that the padded bottom buttons in and easy to come out to clean.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I have two captain seats in the back so it’s not very comfy for a large dog. I put this on them and it fits perfectly and makes it one flat surface that the dog can stand, sit, or sleep on! It has pockets on the part behind the front seats and between the front seats is mesh so he can see the road. We tucked the side panels under the seats so he can just jump in and out easily. This will be perfect for longer trips.

Great quality! Very study in my civic and keeps my dog secure so she isn't getting up front or scratching at the doors. Would recommend!

Awesome product. If you are getting a new puppy, or two get this! It saved our back seat from every puppy stain you could imagine. It has a strong hard floor so it can support their weigh. They have chewed through the door supports that protects the car doors but we attached a cord that works ok. I am so glad we bought this and they are used to it, and fall asleep together, and no car accidents.
