For info (that I wish I had before I bought the Dremel): accessories attach to the Dremel MM40 in a kind of "slide-and-lock" style, so whatever accessory you buy has to have an opening wide enough (just over 5mm) to allow it to slide into place before locking onto the pins. There are 11 locking pins that are kind of pill-shaped (rectangle with rounded corners, approx 3mm l x2mm w) arranged length-wise in an incomplete circle around the center of the locking mechanism (approx 1cm between locking center and pin center). Non-Dremel accessories have to accommodate all this in order to lock properly (also the MM40 accessories seem to only have 9 holes, leaving the 1st and 11th pins to help lock the accessory into place). These are all my observations; hope that helps.
